Charles E. Lannon
(Vice-Chairman) President, Strategic Advisory Inc
Mr. Lannon is President of Strategic Advisory, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in the fields of health care, real estate, and start-up ventures. Since 1995, Mr. Lannon has served on the Board of Directors for Sovran Self Storage, Inc., a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), and currently holds the position of chairman of the company’s governance committee. From 1982 to 1995, he was a founder and Senior Vice President of Marketing for Sovran Self Storage, Inc. Prior to 1982, he was a principal and officer in Aplan, Inc., a regional financial planning and investment firm. From 1970 to 1977, Mr. Lannon held several positions with Xerox Corporation, including Marketing Director. A 1970 Graduate of Canisius College, Mr. Lannon resides in Western New York.
Jinn Wu, Ph.D.
Chief Executive Officer, Xenobiotic Laboratories
Dr. Wu is the Founder and President of Xenobiotics Laboratory (XBL) in Princeton, New Jersey, a contract research organization that provides an extensive array of clinical and preclinical research services to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Wu earned a Ph.D. in Natural Products and Medicinal Chemistry from Ohio State University and spent several years as a research scientist at FMC Corporation, before starting XBL. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and is a member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), the International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics (ISSX), the American Society of Pharmacognosy (ASP) and the American Chemical Society (ACS). He serves on the Board of Directors of Enhance Biotech Inc. and has served on the Board of Ardent Pharmaceuticals.
David Hsia, Ph.D.
Co-Founder Watson Pharmaceuticals
Dr. Hsia is a co-founder of Watson Pharmaceuticals, a publicly traded company listed in New York Stock Exchange (ticker: WPI). He was formerly Senior Vice President of Scientific Affairs of Watson Pharmaceuticals before his retirement. A veteran of the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Hsia was involved in the development of multiple pharmaceutical formulations for over twenty years. Dr. Hsia received a Ph.D. in Industrial and Physical Pharmacy from Purdue University.
Flint D. Besecker
Chief Executive Officer, Hospice and Palliative Care of Western New York
Flint D. Besecker is a veteran in the Healthcare Industry with a proven track record building growth oriented platforms focused in the US. Mr. Besecker has held a number of nationwide executive positions in the healthcare and financial industry, including founding Care Investment Trust (CRE-NYSE), a healthcare focused Real Estate Investment Trust and founding CIT Healthcare (CIT-NYSE) where he served as its President. Prior to 2004, Mr. Besecker held a variety of national leadership positions in the healthcare industry including GE Healthcare Financial Services (GE-NYSE), Heller Healthcare Finance (HF-NYSE) and Healthcare Financial Partners (HCF-NYSE). Mr. Besecker is currently Chief Executive Officer of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western New York. He received a BS in Accounting from Canisius College in 1988 and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Besecker resides in Western New York.
