Kinex CEO to present at National Venture Capital Conference
Dr. Allen Barnett, Chief Executive Office of Kinex Pharmaceuticals, has been invited by the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) to present at the Second Annual BIO National Venture Conference, taking place March 31-April 1, 2009 in Boston, MA. Kinex was chosen through an extremely diligent selection process, in which 350 private biotech companies were screened to identify those that best represent breakthrough therapeutic advances and potential investment opportunities.
The BIO National Venture Conference, co-hosted by the National Venture Capital Association, is designed to showcase the latest crop of high-quality biotech start ups to the healthcare venture capital community, highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation in sustaining the competitive edge of the industry. Last year’s inaugural event attracted senior-level investment managers from over 95 venture capital firms. This venue certainly provides Kinex the opportunity to showcase the extraordinary progress it has made by making judicious use of angel investment capital.
