Charles E. Lannon Elected to Kinex Board of Directors
Charles E. Lannon was elected to the Board of Directors at Kinex Pharmaceuticals on January 30, 2009.
Mr. Lannon is President of Strategic Advisory, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in the fields of health care, real estate, and start-up ventures. Since 1995, Mr. Lannon has served on the Board of Directors for Sovran Self Storage, Inc., a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), and currently holds the position of chairman of the company’s governance committee. From 1982 to 1995, he was a founder and Senior Vice President of Marketing for Sovran Self Storage, Inc. Prior to 1982, he was a principal and officer in Aplan, Inc., a regional financial planning and investment firm. From 1970 to 1977, Mr. Lannon held several positions with Xerox Corporation, including Marketing Director.
A 1970 Graduate of Canisius College, Mr. Lannon resides in Western New York. He is active in several charities and chaired the Annual American Lung Association fundraiser for 14 years. He presently chairs the annual scholarship fundraising event for Bishop Timon Saint Jude High School.
