Discovery of KX2-391 Presented at International Conference

Dr. David Hangauer, Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of Research and Development at Kinex Pharmaceuticals was invited to present at the Cambridge Healthtech Institutes Fifth Annual “Discovery on Target, 2007” Conference. The meetings were held at the World Trade Center in Boston, MA on October 16-17, 2007. Conference participants included North American and European scientists from academia and industry.

Dr. Hangauer’s presentation was included in the Inaugural Meeting on Kinase Inhibitors which highlighted compounds that are moving forward into clinical studies. His talk, entitled “The First Non-ATP Competitive Src Inhibitor to Enter Clinical Trials” focused primarily on the discovery of KXO1 and the Company’s platform technology which generates highly selective non-ATP competitive compounds. KXO1 is in Phase 1 Clinical Trials for Oncology.
