Kinex Awarded US Patent
Kinex Pharmaceuticals was granted United States Patent No. 7,300,931 B2 on November 27, 2007. The patent entitled “Compositions for Treating Cell Proliferation Disorders” claims composition of matter for new chemical entities, including Compound KX2-391 that is currently in Phase 1 Clinical Trials for Oncology.
“During the past two years Kinex has been awarded four US Patents, which is a significant achievement for a young Biotech Company”, said CEO Dr. Allen Barnett. “We are very encouraged that the novelty of our compounds, and our underlying technology, will continue to generate patentable assets for Kinex, he added.
