Kinex Pharmaceuticals Co-Founder Receives Multiple Honors
Dr. David Hangauer, a co-founder and senior vice president of research development at Kinex Pharmaceuticals has recently received several honors.
The Niagara Frontier Intellectual Property Law Association and the Technical Societies Council of the Niagara Frontier Health Sciences named U.S. patent 7,070,936 entitled "Method for Designing Protein Kinase Inhibitors", First Place in the Health Sciences category. Inventors of this patent are David G. Hangauer, Jr. and former graduate students Thomas Marsilje and Karen Milkiewicz.
Business First of Buffalo named Dr. David G. Hangauer as a member of the 2007 Health Care 50 Award. Business First's April 2007 issue honored extraordinary professionals involved in the medical field. Dr. Hangauer was also designated the Chair's Fellow for the 2007 Medicinal Chemistry Gordon Research Conference, which will be held in Aug. 2007 at Colby-Sayer College in New London, New Hampshire.
Kinex Pharmaceuticals is very proud of all of Dr. Hangauer's accomplishments.
